Nascent Town Astir

Shawls,
of dream,
clouds droll wink,
serene skim oe’r,
dark grey urban plinths,
that pierce glazed amber sky,
sonic bell toll’s eardrum plops,
impetus to stir first flush throng,
plumes of steam from gurgling pool billow,
a fickle fountain sprinkles high-pitch wail

I like the line that has in it, glazed amber sky. I thought of a fresh glazed donut straight from the oven. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Way to go. 👏✍️. Now, thinking how wonderful one of those donuts would taste then I would have heartburn. Whoa..Sara K.
