Nameless Wanderer

As if the breeze is alive 
to speak their wisdom 
with a gentle voice 
of million ancestors before me. 
Miles added to the footsteps 
is a cure for heartbreak 
from the days of youth. 
No more strings from the past 
to bind to a spot literal or metaphorical, 
faded prejudice gifted wings to the feet
nameless wanderer on a journey 
to live in surplus ...
