Nails

My brother calls me "Hammer Head"
Cause I eat Nails !
My sister calls me "Tacky"
Cause I eat Nails !
My friends call me "Spike"
Just because I eat Nails !
Everyone says I am a 
"glutton for punishment"
I just can't seem to stop,
Biting on my Nails !

Ron VanHooser June 19, 2025 at 1:56 PM The bedroom is quiet and dark, no sound can be heard...except for this occasional "clicking" sound that the years have taught me is my wife lying next to me biting her nails! I wasn't sure where you were going with this, but it was well worth the trip! Great poem! Ron
