My Yentl Yeti
Living way up north in the snow,
was a yeti who was quite gullible,
wanted to keep the peace with him,
so told him I was his next of kin,
I hated to make up a story like that,
but didn't want him to one day attack,
being he lived so very close by,
had to watch out and keep a very wary eye,
But after I told him he'd become warmer,
unlike the days when his temper was stormier,
like a savage he'd do more than kick a can,
acting quite like an abominable snowman,
But now he'd come over for friendly visits,
clearing my driveway with his big gigantic fists,
even clearing the snow from off my roof,
making funny faces and acting like a goof,
I'm glad that he thinks I'm one of him,
he acts a little more happier and a lot less grim,
and as I get older my hair has become snow white,
which is similar to his and causes him delight,
One day my vehicle got stuck in the snow,
and alls he had to do was howl and blow,
my vehicle blown all the way to my house,
saving me a towing fee and a little gas,
He sure his handy to have around,
he does things which constantly astound,
thats why I let him sleep in my garage,
up for midnight snacks I hear his forage,
Thank God he's learning to eat what I eat,
since we were fast running out of yak and sheep,
learning to be a vegetarian he gets more gas,
having to swallow bean-o so he wont cause another avalanche,
When visitors come over he's got to hide,
otherwise they might run and cry,
thats when my yeti will go hang out with the local bears,
and come back home when the coast is clear.
