My World Is Empty

After reading Barbara Taylor Bradford's " dangerous to know" I wrote this Rondeau



How could you ever leave me like this?            
My world is empty, I cannot resist   
You were beside me throughout my life                 
Even long before I became your wife               
I was your confidante, no one else  
I will remain that way, I keep my promise     
That your secrets will never  surface.    
I remember how you assured I was safe,
How could you?                              
Why did you take your own life, my Precious? 
Were you lonely in this world envious?  
Or your heart was ripped, so harmed yourself? 
You were gone in a way so mysterious. 
I am clueless and helpless,  I am in terrible mess.
How could you?

Mel Blanc did the voices for each and every character, and at the end of every episode Porky Pig would come out saying, "That's all folks!"... which is a bit ironic, that being an inscription on his tombstone.
