My Words
By Ezar
Thank you father for my youngest son I have made mistakes with my other children
so I try not to make the same mistakes with this one
Father give me the wisdom and understanding of how to love
Give me guidance to show him how you love
Protect him for he bears a prophets name At the same time the only child I have with my last name
May he be blessed more than me
My love for him helps me understand how you love me
But my love for you is first then he
Cause without you there would be no me
The creator of all things birds and trees
I give you glory and honor no matter what the case may be
Thank you for giving me ears to hear and eyes to see
Blessing me with the gift to express through poetry
Help me to touch lives not only those close to me
For your words are for whoever seeks
Father I bleed my heart on my sleeves
For those who may be releasing cries in the street
On the daily grind to compete
Those in bondage who seek to be free
May my payers be not earth bound but go pass the second heavens to be released
Let nothing but life pass through my teeth
Let not sand but a rock be under my feet as I stand
On your word of truth in my journey to the promise land
Father oh heavenly father I reach out to thee
Let my mind only meditate on praises of thee
Give me the courage to bring people closer to thee
Open up the closed hearts that have walked away from thee
Give the spiritually blind sight
Let them witness your power and might
Forgive those who operate fornication and strife
Let thy name be praised to the end of the earth
Let your people know their true worth
Release you worrying angles to protect your church
Let not the cares of this world enslave us in sin
Let not the cycle of our failures happen again and again
But let us follow Christ from beginning to end
In the name of Jesus and power of his blood amen
