My Wonderful Dad

My wonderful Dad full of wonders
In which I will never discover
Being he is under the influence of another
White girl is her name
Filling his nose to hide his pain
Turned after losing his father in vein
The man of the house he did not remain
Despite being a jack of all trades
Yet a king of none
In which I have inherited my traits of an uneven trade
Handy, crafty, mathematician, an artsy one
First drawing to inspire me came from behind bars
And when he arrived all I saw were stars
In his cleansed body of a muscular dream
Only to fall for what was more important then me
I've never forgotten falling in love
With the first man lost in un-given hugs
Often I have questioned why I never became the apple of his eyes
Until now I see
He was unable to give me, what left him empty........................
