My Will

My Will I’m on a path to find where I belong And even though it’s lonely, I’ll get by It may be tough to be patient this long Yet, for so many, ’love’ IS the disguise You need to look deeper into the eye A short path of happiness will confuse Two paths aren’t the same when side-by-side And untrue love will only cloud your view But, until you KNOW the needs of yourself Can you truly be, right, for another When willing to part to support their wealth Two become one, instead, of just lovers I’m on a path to find where I belong Though, sometimes I’m weak, my will, is still strong © 2017 Jeffrey Spencer
