My Vow

Four years ago I wouldn't have thought
Of you as a dream that I sought,
Rippling into my reality you slowly went
Even the tides of my perception have slowly been bent,
Very close you were to me probably a month or two,
Even the birds chirping around us surprisingly knew,
Reality then came by and suddenly, it was destined that you too.

Irritated by the confusion your presence brought me
Never ending questions in my head not letting me be,

Years of love's absence then you came
On a sunny Wednesday smiling just the same,
Ultimate finale to my miserable single life,
Reasoning now for the purpose of making you my wife,

Everlasting bliss was always my goal,
Your happines I seek and your majestic soul,
Elevating me to the man I am now,
Surreal that Today I'm telling you my vow.
