My Valentine's Day
My Valentine’s Day
My Valentine’s Day, one like no other,
With feelings of wonderment all about,
Full of hopes and dreams, my heart all a flutter,
My mind bothered by continuous doubt.
Red heart shaped box, pecan chocolate filled,
Card and a flower bouquet coupled with,
Taste buds salivating, and destroyed will,
Melodies playing, all seems like a myth
The smell of coffee, filled the morning air,
Leaving me to guess, what is coming next?
Then a breakfast plate, cooked with loving care,
I have to give him props, with much respect.
My Valentine’s Day, one like no other,
I wore my crown proudly, like Queen Mother!
