When I was a little boy,
I hunted down frogs, trying to catch them,
but just before I nabbed them, they would hop away.
Could it be, maybe, it is the same with truth?
I cannot hope to catch it.
It's an elusive mystery, ever to evade my searching grasp,
and it cannot be found outside, but only exists internally.
It may not be the truth others try to impose -
although they may live by their own gospel.
No, my guide comes from inside,
and what is true today, may not be true tomorrow.
What is true for me, may not be for you.
I abandon the quest for truth,
and leave fleeting frogs free, finding faith inside.
