It nice you really know who you are, some still search and live in a maze. The last Monoku could be read as political poetry, or am I missing the point lol! Brilliant cheers. ~Anaya

Heya Anaya, I wanted to encompass so much into this one, so it’s very nature covers most grey areas in life, left/right wing politics when extreme are brutal in nature, and more or less the same no matter which way one steps, thanks for your wonderful comment, cheers David

Minefields are everywhere in life Kim, some cannot be avoided, and must be crossed even in the dark, cheers David

Heya Karen, angst perhaps alongside multiple other deeper realities that make life what it is, cheers David

Too much thinking - so fascinating yet leads to stark realities/possibilities being revealed, which under cover of night feel much worse. I like the use of the word 'lead' as it makes me think of a pencil drawing the path and gave a visual into the grey. I'm sure I could read this on different days and see different meanings. Thought provoking, what I like in a poem :)

I knew you’d see quite a lot into this particular one Dilly, it’s kind of designed that way, as indeed so am I, nothing is ever just black and white in life, even the colours themselves, always more going on than meets the eye, cheers David

I won’t suggest any of us can avoid walking through minefields. That would mean we’d never set foot away from home and sometimes that’s not a safe haven either. Thoughtful material, David.

Heya Lin, it probably adds an extra menacing layer to negotiate minefields at night, but in truth it’s probably just as nightmarish during the day, yeah quite a bit going on here, thanks for stopping by cheers David
