My Time Machine Mind
Traveling to any place it wants;
This mind can go anywhere it desires.
It has sat upon one Pharoh's lonely stone,
Watching the others slowly rise to red sky.
It was there when Napoleon knelt before Josephine,
Witness to a rare humbling within an Emporer's moment.
It has ridden proud beside a courageous King Arthur,
Each glorious time that he entered in to battle.
It has never ventured into those future times though,
Because non-existing answers do not solve any questions.
Of course it is not because it can't do that you know,
It just doesn't think most would like destiny revealed.
It has even found a mortal angel named Rebecca once,
Then it lost her one terrible day yet it does go back,
To that most wonderful time when it did first meet her,
To when my human eyes allowed it to gaze upon her beauty.
It has visited things never written of in earth history,
Because humans were not there at the time to see them.
It has gone back to our universe times of creation,
To first fireworks display allowing lives to begin.
