My Three Black Cats

My Three Black Cats I sit outside , with my three black cats. Each one on their own corner, of the grassy mat. One cat quite old, the others under four. Just sitting together, none of them bored. I feel quite privileged , to be in their pact. Even though it’s clear, I am not a cat. I never thought I’d have two cats , let alone three. But when I met Pickles , he had to have me. Some people call me , the crazy cat lady. I don’t mind , as my cats know I’m not shady. We are quite enjoying this time together. Even though it’s turned, to cooler weather. There’s something about , hanging out with three cats. Close your eyes, you can imagine that. It’s almost dinner time , for these three. No wonder why, they all love me.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed."

A delightful write, Rebeckah! Sounds like you enjoy their companionship as much as they enjoy you! I have a dear old cat named Jeff who delights my life. Best to you as you continue your poetical journey - Bob H
