My Sweet Angel

Angels are the proof that heaven exists
Where there’s despair they appear from the mist.

Standing beneath a weeping willow tree
A sweet angel came and whispered to me
Dry your tears my dear, I’m always with thee.

Angels do appear like magic, it’s happened to me a few times in my life. I once, when young, went skating on a frozen canal, with some friends. The ice cracked, luckily by the edge, I went in and hung on the side, some lads from school were there and pulled me out… Beryl
