My Sweet Angel


Angels are the proof that heaven exists
Where there’s despair they appear from the mist.

Standing beneath a weeping willow tree
A sweet angel came and whispered to me
Dry your tears my dear, I’m always with thee.

Beryl, you bring mild tears to my eyes. There's no question we have something wonderful we can rely on. There's something going on in our brains that cries our with desire to feel good. I'm certain you understand that from your own personal experience since you have a unique perspective here. Truly amazing, and smiles of course!! You are providing some magic!!

Sorry I’m late replying to your comment Duke. Angels do appear like magic, it’s happened to me a few times in my life. I once, when young, went skating on a frozen canal, with some friends. The ice cracked, luckily by the edge, I went in and hung on the side, some lads from school were there and pulled me out… Beryl

Humans are not angels, but distinct beings created by God. However, Angels (in human form) have the ability to understand and feel what others are going through. Some examples: They are obedient, a guardian, compassionate and faithful. They're also loving and respectful, all while serving God and carrying out His will. So wonderful, indeed. I agree with you Brandy humans are definitely no angels, but rotten , no good deviants masquerading as as good deed doers. Angels would be just the blessing we need because we have definitely fallen short of the grace of god….

Dear Brandy, I realise humans are not angels, yet lots of kind hearted people have an angelic heart. When my husband was very ill in hospital recently, I was in tears when I went to see him, a nurse was so kind and comforting, I’ll never forget her, to me she was an earthlangel.
