My Spirit Soars

one vibrant 
soul soars
you tease
 my heart
as with wings 
it flutters

flying high 
my spirit
searching 
for you
my promised land
far off 
in the distance

hovering over you
looking down 
a beautiful sight
as i slowly descend
landing beside you 
my soul rests
with you 

my soul mate
heaven has 
a new meaning
heavenly 
in you
