My Son, You Are a Victorious Man of God
My son, you are a victorious man when…
God’s leadership over your life is your utmost desire
Every time you wake up, till when at night, you retire
Though others mock your aim with insulting satire.
God’s mercy drives your spirituality for reaching-out
Every time you advance His kingdom against hell’s route
While struggling to be pulled from slothfulness’ clout.
God’s love prevails in your devotion and commitment
Every time you labour in your sacrificial engagement
Midst weariness’ attacks, threatening your dedication’s fulfillment.
God’s pardon reigns in your compassion-gesture
Every time you forgive in the light of the Scripture
Admitting, confessing, and forsaking your sinfulness’ posture.
God’s wisdom directs your steps for productive diligence
Every time you combat selfishness and disobedience
Against carnality that entices you toward pleasure-indulgence.
God’s peace reigns over your heart
Every time you vanquish harsh crises’ dart
Even if succumbing to complaints is the easy start.
God’s will is where you find freedom indeed
Every time you trust Him to meet your need
Acknowledging your despair due to problems’ breed.
God’s Word works as your armor amidst uncertainty
Every time you conquer doubts with truth’s purity
Especially when many oppose you against evidences’ obscurity.
God’s guidance keeps your faith settled
Every time you win against being embattled
And hurdling personal wars leaves you disgruntled.
God’s righteousness hedges your choices within His presence
Every time worldliness pulls you down by its alluring insistence
Hindering you in exalting the Saviour and His name’s magnificence.
God’s rewards await your future in serving Him by His might
Every time you bear fruits as His steward in your service-height
Along your worshipful gratefulness of praise-delight.
God be praised and thanked for you, my son* whom I pray for.
I likewise honour the Lord for enabling you to live for Him by His fervor.
My prayer is that you continue to please Him with your faithfulness-ardor
All by His grace and thru His power’s donor;
I'm proud of you; you're the fruit of my motherhood joy and valor.
*Proverbs 24:21 My son, fear thou the LORD and the king: and meddle not with them that are given to change.
