My Solar Eclipse

My Solar Eclipse

We only made words but somehow I knew
Your magnetic charm would lead me to you
I waited until your force drew me in
Stirring sensations that were so akin
Phenomena as a Solar Eclipse

The moon moved between the earth and the sun
A sensation of your scent and your lips
Slowly but surely the moon drifts away
Creating a darkness into the day
A brief stint of black then returns the light
But I am solar and you are lunar
For your moon is dark and my sun is bright
But someday anon in Twenty twenty four
A nova created then we will score

*Dedicated to the Solar  Eclipse on August 21, 2017
and a failed romance.
