My Size My Choice
Deny me the right to eat,
Deny me the right to sleep,
But don’t deny me my right to live.
Subjected to your gazing eyes,
As I pass without being shy,
Myself a being that cannot be defined:
A relic that is adored by the sages,
The beauty that lies within,
Compact like the suns core,
Hotter than the molten lava,
My creator made me me.
The size is my choice to bear,
The curves is my choice to keep,
My weight is my choice to have,
My pace is my stride to strive.
Before you look at the speck,
Look at the concept of every step,
Because the speck in your eyes is
A lens that was created to see not judge:
To speak ill of my size is an offense,
But on my defense I appreciate the intense.
The coverage that cannot complete my beauty,
Please let me gain to my level feet
I was created by the image of God
Please let me be and stop staring please.
