My Shadow
My shadow
It lives
In my every step
Following discreetly
In silence its met
It grows in the dark
Confidence gained
But cowers in the light
Because it's afraid
It doesn't want to be seen
This shadow
It scares me
As its creeping along
And it's always so hungry
For things
It cant have
But if im scared
Of my shadow
Its scared of me
For what is my shadow
Other than a reflection
Of me?
