My ride

I ride
With pride
with no civic sense
with absolute independence
As though the entire road
Were my father’s abode

This is how some youngsters especially on bikes and bullets ride past crowded streets, posing threats to motorists and pedestrians. They seem never accountable to anybody. Who is there to question them!

Hi Chris! There is so much said in your six lines especially considering respecting our right away on the road as we also respect the right of way of others. Such an interesting poem! Blessings on your, the Beatles said, ticket to ride!

Not sure treating a road as your personal space is safe.
