My Pot of Gold
On the other side of the rainbow,
it was dark and cold.
Strom clouds were forever floating around,
I tried to hide, I tried to run.
But now I'm climbing, sliding over my rainbow,
to the otherside.
"Somewhere over the rainbow,"
I can see my Pot of Gold
is waiting
for
me.
On this side of the rainbow,
it's bright and warm.
The clouds are bright white, fluffy and soft,
I can lay out and not run or hide.
I have everything I could ever want,
an awesome boyfriend, job and liffe.
"I wished upon a shooting star,"
prayed to the Lord above, and now
I've got
this
far!
Down there at the bottom of the rainbow,
is my little Pot of Gold.
I'm his to have, his to hold,
I'll be with him soon, his support, maybe more,
but we'll take it one step at a time, so it means more.
"Somewhere over the rainbow,"
Awaits my Pot of Gold,
and I could want
nothing
more!
