My Poison

The poison in your charm is so endearing
It’s no wonder I’m back for more
A concoction of alluring influences
I’m simply mesmerised, I adore
You’re a cocktail or lovely potions
That I’ll crave for ever more
Your lips captivate my fate
Your poison, the arsenic of your tongue
Poisoned by a kiss I’ve simply been undone
I’m cursed for evermore
Unless, perhaps you’re the cure I’ve been craving all along
