My poet, yes that's what you are
So talented, full of joy
Your smooth lyrics that melt my heart
You birth a smile to the world
With your radiant words of life
My poet, yes that's what you are
Exquisite and so raw
My man who can receive your music
The smooth lyrics of a black poet
Your words grace my heart
My soul
And my life
