My Poems, My Words, My Life
I feel like all my poems
are alike
they all say the same thing
they all have the same heart and soul,
mine
they are all written by the same lonely,
struggling, heartbroken,
dream-ridden girl
with every poem
I say what I am feeling
whats buzzing through my head
whats burning in my heart
it's always the same thing
in different words
same pain, same heart, same love
every poem
every word
drips from my very blood
my source of life
seeps into the pages
making it a part of me
all together they become me
they are me
