My Pen Sword

With my eyes closed
words come
They wish to be spoken
But I have no voice
Words invade
They insist on being heard
I dare not open my mouth
Words turn into feelings
Emotions I am unable to express
Words build up
They overflow
But still I dare not speak
silence
I fade,
For I cannot even write them down
Without my pen the words will claim me
Unable to speak
Forbidden to write
My pen has become a knife.
