My Path

Heavenly Father illumine my
Path.
For the journey is long, the
closer I get to you.
There is a fork in the road, which to go?
the wide or narrow?
Please shed some light
on this weary traveler.
Who searches for meaning in
a strange land.
For I am a foreigner in this world,
My vision is failing.
I’ve been earthbound too long,
The world has blinded me.
The veil over my eyes
is too heavy, I can't see.
And my ears have become deaf,
Deaf to the cries of my humanity.
A conscious seared shut, with
 this world's reality.
Please give me the strength to stand.
Help me to find my way in a
Barren land.
Help me to keep you first in
My life.
Let your words guide me,
 become my sight
To walk the path, you've called
 to do
I will keep the faith,
 faith in You
On this journey, you called
me to.
