Notes About The Poem

My New Year's Wish

A New Year's wish would be for the healing of relationships, a softening of hearts hardened by hostility, and for the people of this nation to find common ground instead of being so divided.

A wish for others would be to embrace those who bring the best out of you; Try to volunteer more, there is so much need in this world and a few moments of your time can be life changing for all those involved.

Another wish would be for all to consider looking at something which we know little about and pursue that interest to become aware; learning something new is good for the mind.

Finally, if you can run, run; if you can walk then walk, do something to be alive.

Thank You Casarah for having so much charity on your "Least Views" contest; this was by far my poem with the least views prior to September 1, but this poem was heartfully written.
