My New Year Resolutions

I have found the perfect solutions For all those New Year’s resolutions A friend recommended trying the see food diet You eat everything in sight – oh I can’t wait to try it Then I’m going to tackle my constant spending I’ll invent magic money - its use is never ending! I’ll take cookery lessons, when I cook its burnt and smoking When my hubby hears the smoke alarm he begins choking! I’m going to try and grow a huge 'poet tree' With leaves from my first book for all to see I have to be honest I’ve never made a New Year’s resolution But this is for a contest so here’s my contribution! Jan, I just wanted you to know that some of your resolutions have been staples at my house for years, like my burning the food. Great job in putting it in words I could understand. Congrats on the win!

LOL Dan pure fiction as I never ever make resolutions and I am a decent cook:-) my poetry style is simple I don't like to have to use a dictionary more than once when reading poems otherwise I lose the thread of the poem and switch off:-) hugs jan xx

I never make them Daniel can't see the point. I am not overweight, don't smoke, rarely drink, don't have debts. I have goals to set for myself but I don't set them in stone as life has a nasty habit of biting us in the bum lol:-) hugs Jan xx
