Notes About The Poem

My New Year Resolutions

I have found the perfect solutions
For all those New Year’s resolutions

A friend recommended trying the see food diet
You eat everything in sight – oh I can’t wait to try it

Then I’m going to tackle my constant spending
I’ll invent magic money  - its use is never ending!

I’ll take cookery lessons, when I cook its burnt and smoking
When my hubby hears the smoke alarm he begins choking!

I’m going to try and grow a huge 'poet tree'
With leaves from my first book for all to see

I have to be honest I’ve never made a New Year’s resolution
But this is for a contest so here’s my contribution!
