My Muse Is A Goddess Gone Astray

My muse is a
Goddess gone astray
She has to be
to deal with me

It seems like she's
always there when I need her
Through all my
travails and ups

and downs. She never
complains. Just gives
me support and comfort.
Whispers sweet music

into my ears
She is definitely
a Goddess- - - - - - -
Like Beatrice to Dante

She has captured
my heart and Love
What a pleasure
to have her around

A beautiful title, Frank. A lovely simple honestly expressed tribute. A clean format. Uplifting final stanza. I liked the hyphens to give a pause after Goddess ~ it emphasises her nature before connecting her to Beatrice and Dante. Lucky chappy to have a partner, goddess & muse all rolled in one. ThkU for sharing. Have a blessed week. X.

Sweet poem. I see you enjoy writing on your muse. She is a goddess to many of us who have one!

The emotional impact of your poem is strong due to the personal nature of the subject. It can resonate with the themes of struggle and support, especially the idea of a steadfast muse through thick and thin. The last line, "What a pleasure to have her around," reinforces the poem's warmth and comforting tone.

I am delighted that your muse is around giving you inspiration and help. Mine has been under the weather here lately and writing is very difficult. Sara K

Love hearing about your sweet muse Frank! Mine is naughty and on occasion abandons me to party and drink! lol
