My March Madness
My March Madness
By Rick Rucker
I feel like I’m on a runaway train,
Too many things, at once, in my brain!
Before I met You, my life was set,
Not too excited would I get,
My work, my writing, my drawings too,
I had enough time to do,
Since You said that you would be my wife,
I have lead a singularly chaotic Life!
Every second away from your side,
Seems like I have already died!
Luckily, my life returns,
When next I see You, but the memory still burns,
Of how, when Alone, I feel deprived,
Unquenched, until I again, have arrived,
Once again, near enough to see,
The One that has given new life to me!
The two halves of my Life, I must divide,
Lest others find out that I’m like Jekyll and Hyde!
