My Long Lost Family
A small hamlet of five,
My husband and three kids,
Bound by love,
Never existed any fear,
That accident,
When my hopes shattered,
After he took a heavenly travel,
Leaving us behind,
I never knew to see life alone,
My hands were empty,
Daily bread was tough,
Never about education and other stuffs,
Haunting nights with tears of hunger,
Wished no more sunrise for dreams turned darker,
For my children to live,
No option except to give,
My eldest daughter to a rich business man,
She kissed her brother and sister,
And never wished to see,
This callous mother who gave her for free,
My son to a lawyer,
He understood me,
Bid goodbye and never wept,
But I never slept,
My youngest little princess,
To a singer,
The killing moment,
When I made her sleep and gave a leave,
Walked to the well to end my life,
But wanna see my kids brought very well,
Everyday went with vain,
Now on my death bed,
I wished before I die, wanna see my kids,
Hug them with love and apologise,
For I abandoned their love,
I am never a mother,
I am never a mother,
I broke their siblings touch,
Never for heaven,
When the door opened for a doctor in white,
Who sat next to me so tight,
I smelt my daughter,
My eldest princess now treating me,
She looked at me so strange,
Compared me with her pendant frame,
Only tears spoke no words can express,
The morning news rushed for the missing two,
The famous lawyer and an applauded singer,
A small hamlet of four,
Years after years,
Stood like statues before hugged for love,
A touch reminded their child wood,
When all the three cuddled,
Beneath my womb...
