My Life (At the Moment)
Is there more to life
Than just who we are
Its all just a strife
Taken way too far
Gone is where i wish to go
But that is what i'll never do
For my life doesn't pass by too slow
It passes by like the wind blew
It's like a flash of light
Thats suddenly gone
Like taking flight
But the path merely drawn
I'm growing up way too fast
With a whole life ahead of me
Will this thing last
Free from it is what i'll never be
I wish there was some way
To make this move at my pace
Happiness is gone with my day
I feel like i'm winning some race
Love is what i'm after
Thats how i want to fall
Someone to share laughter
Someone to be there when i call
But there is no answer, is there
There is no magic spell
I'll soon be lifted into the air
On this i constantly dwell
But i must stay in the moment
This is the lesson they teach
It's the final component
It's what i want to reach
To this i will constantly add
But i'll end the poem here
For i don't want to make it bad
With rhymes that are unclear
But i will end
On a final note
It's with a friend
To which i wish to devote
