My Kind :'Breath'

When the joy I had is gone And the hope I had is lost I'm afraid I can not,×3 breath When the traps within these walls Leave me broken and afraid Would you take my, please take my,×2 hand (Would you pull me,x2 out of this den)×2
I take sometime to think About this world and everything Who am I to be proud because I am better than somebody out there Walk along the streets and see desperation Hearts craving wealth over others People taking inspiration from those who surfer Going to school thinking about those who have failed How many have been where I've been? How many made it through and how far did they make it? How many have made it this far? Everybody in a rush hour to look after themselves Kindness keeps fading every single day Peace drifts to those who are weak Not because they have a choice but are powerless One's value deflects from the life he has and that she has To things that only last for a blink of an eye Corrupt minds disguise within images of what's left behind The flesh tears us apart But that's only one point of view My restless mind stumbles upon those hopeless souls Stepping stones for the wicked Silent but in their eyes lies the pain Lost with no one to find Yet everyday keeps getting darker Questioning the worth of all this Why stand out Hearts carved out of stone Desire to create balance Yet that's not how it all began Now there's nobody to listen They all just look away and pass by Disgusted by what they see And slowly by slowly that's how it goes Darkness engulfs all little spark of faith that's left The breaking point And that's the least of what i fight every single day What those goldenhearts out there keep fighting To keep the little spark igniting Though it gets tough sometimes Knowing you have to make the same choice every single day Understanding the only power which is truly yours Is not just knowing what's right to do and what's wrong But the ability to make the choice Your own choice despite the darkness that surrounds You could blow out your own candle Or keep it burning But what ever you choose, You always acknowledge every single consequence With good reason because in spite of everything else Fear is your greatest enemy A misfit of judgement As time goes on, I always Expect the worst and so I'm prepared to face it But as i do I always hope for the best Hoping my candle shall keep burning And keep me going through the darkness. I may not find a way out, But i hope to find some peace.
