My Hot Wind Blew Her

Polka dots on your dress brought a lifting spirit Moonbeams glistened off your hair as you whispered your green eyes spoke of eternal things but all I could see were your lips forming musical words Moving in unison they formed complex notions of philosophy and zen the silence around you overpowered my senses And my mute voice screamed you are a beauty I love you That moment in my minute with eternity didn't last long she said she had to be excused her bladder was bursting trying to be funny, I suggested using my coke cup I can tell you that was not the shining moment of my life she declined my offer and like a dandelion in the desert my hot wind blew her away. I never saw her again

Thank you for your kind words, though we did not meet or communicate verbally we made a connection through our poetry as it separately exists. I like the way you paint pictures with words that give a variety of feelings. I'm sorry you are leaving; for someplace nice, I hope, and where the day's stresses do not interfere with a good night's sleep. Thank you Sweet Spirit.
