My Home

Home, Well it's not the bricks and mortar For that is just the house. It's... ...coming into the driveway, ...parking next to your works van, Knowing I'll soon be there. My excitement flutters, Like butterfly wings beating against my heart. As I come through the door Your voice fills my ears, Warm and comforting, Embracing my soul with your, "Hi honeybee how was your day?" Your arms fold around me As you drop light kisses on my neck, I relax into your body and... ...the butterfly stills, For when I'm with you, At last, I'm home. 16th August 2019

Thanks Ann and congratulations on your 2nd place win also. I'm so grateful that I have Bryan in my life especially after his health scares. I thank the angels for looking after him.

Home. So often we do realize how important going there can be. We are in such a hurry for the next thing, as not to linger and enjoy what we have. How sweet, how romantic your write. Truly...love at its finest. Ann

Hello Elizabeth … yes, a house is not necessarily a home, so what you have written explains it all - well done again - Lindsay

Thank you so much on my placement. I've just started to write again, as a broken wrist is giving me more time. I'm very lucky to have a husband who is my home.
