My Home
Home is my actual Eden where You, my God, nourish me with Your bounty
Embracing me around warm belongingness of family love delight
Assured with security presence, barring disloyalty attacks
Fenced by Your providential guarding leadership!
Home is my primary faith-builder, bringing me close to You, my Creator…
As Dad and Mom exposed me to Your great omnipotence
Midst truths of miracles and realities of mysteries
Especially of personal relationship with Christ.
Home is my serene haven that has taught me genuine contentment
With my parents thanking You, Oh, Lord for Your daily blessings
Combatting dissatisfaction of materialism-angst
Subduing greed, covetousness and envy.
Home is my joyous commendation-source from Your wrought triumph, my God
Exemplified by my family’s gladness, praising You over every milestone
Be it birthday, graduation, anniversary, or any worthy festival…
Prevailing is “Congrats for doing your best by God’s grace…”
Home keeps me linger more for mind and body’s much-needed rejuvenation
When outside tasks’ incessant demands echo loudly with painful pressure
Succumbing to relaxation’s pleasure, I stay in Your comfort, Holy Spirit
Refreshed by loved ones’ touch and embrace, verily therapeutic.
Home is my fortress-might against injustice and violence of whatever nature
Vanguard of biblical virtues-values, constantly championing righteousness
Where You, my dear Saviour reign as Master with compassion and truth…
In You is heaven on earth; with You soon is eternal paradise.*
*Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
