My Heavenly Home

Author Dana Redricks July 5, 2023 I'm yearning for Peace: A Journey to Serenity. I'm tired of the pain and the hardships that it brings, The weight on my shoulders, the songs that sorrow sings. I can't bear this burden any longer, I implore, my soul, weary and worn, yearns for heavenly shores. In the depths of my despair, I find solace in my dreams, A tranquil place where darkness fades, and hope gleams. A sanctuary where the wounds of life can finally heal, where my spirit can be free, and my heart can truly feel. Oh, how I long to see my Savior's loving face, to seek refuge in his embrace, in his divine grace. In that realm beyond this world, where sorrows cease, I yearn to find serenity and everlasting peace. This earthly existence feels like a daunting race, with each passing day, exhaustion leaves its trace. But there is a spark within me, a flame burning bright, Guiding me towards that radiant celestial light. For in my dreams, I glimpse a glimpse of paradise, a place untouched by pain, where all troubles suffice. I yearn to walk upon golden streets, unburdened and free, where joy is everlasting, and anguish cannot be. So I hold onto the hope that one day I shall go there, In my heavenly home, where worries are not there. Until then, I gather strength, through each trial and test, Knowing that beyond this world, I will find eternal rest. For the journey may be arduous, the hardships hard to bear, but I trust in the promise of my Savior's love and care. In that celestial horizon, my soul will ultimately roam, and I will find the peace I seek, in my heavenly home.
