For the man I love with all my heart

MY HEATED SENSES If I stream past you, swirl around your feet, cooling and cleansing Will you stop and look at me and say: "This is how I like to be treated, with dignity. This is what my feet deserve!" If I flow around you in the hot summer afternoon, cooling you down Will you stop and hug yourself and say; "This is what I love to feel, Cooling breeze to calm my heated senses" If I warm you, my twigs and logs crackling in the cold winter night Will you sit near me, face me and say: "How warm do you make me feel How bright, how miraculous are the flames you let dance for me". If I spread myself over you, me, the comforter that I am Will you revel in my warmth and say: "Nothing in the world brings so much warmth and love to me. Be mine forever". And I will be yours forever, floating, caressing, smiling and loving, and all-encompassing. *** December 30, 2016
