My Heart's Delight

Love's proximity surprised me,
In my own state, a gem I'd see.
Christy Ola, humble and kind,
Unique nature, beauty one of a kind.

Her heart beats not for wealth's gold,
But inner beauty, talents to behold.
She'd sacrifice time, talent, and might,
A love that's patient, loyal, shining bright.

As she approached, I asked with glee,
"Do you love me?" Her smile said yes to me.
Love's seed planted, nurturing with care,
Yielding fruits of joy, beyond compare.

Through pain and want, in luxury's sway,
You stand by me, come what may.
My love, Christy Ola, I adore,
Appreciating you, forevermore.
