My Heart Weeps

My heart weeps Like tears sucked Ennui abounds No place to go. Deeper and deeper into abyss With each breath taken. Remorseful longing, For what has escaped. Treasured dreams, Never to be forgotten, Of our love, Deep in my heart. Am I safe, From thoughts beconning? I fear not For haunting is their goal. Carried away, Like winds of a storm. Lost it seems, I left to mourn. Offerings dismissed With regretful sorrow. I must retire, Till 'morrow. 6-08-2017
