My Happy Home
Hope and belief occupy the same saucer
Positive vibes released social enjoyment
My childhood years reared with laughter
Learning with parents was a commitment
We were young and living happily at home
Climbing all over Dad and jumping off
The curriculum swing in the playground
laughed, and chatted scripted, to interact.
Recreation, prone to rain, hail and snow
Every season had all the same reasons
Dirt, bruises, cuts, and people we don’t know
Every hapless crew in our home beckons
Each of us had to render a girdle of stories
Provoking replies every sentence hold
Such mirth consists of humorous allergies
More contagious the taller tale they told
Bites and bugs, with tricky juggle hugs
Mud and floods rush for home in a puddle
Ripped roar times evoke my taste buds
The world unfolds and soars high in a bubble
Rolling on the floor like a circus clown
Gear and tickled the chuckling diaphragm
My Dad always chortles at his own pun
Windmill hands in rhythmical reaction
Weave bright random cornstalk images
harden tears softening the brittle years
home was a stage, for us privileged sages
Daily inspiring, by night dreams verses
Blessings pursue God's plan is good for you
Laugh with us from stuff air that stirs hearts
Memories of home was nearly as good as new
I keep them wrapped with happy thoughts.
