My Grandma

She and I had a special bond one I will never forget, I remember when I was younger I was her little pet. She loved me with her heart I was spoiled by her and grandpa, I stayed up late at nights I enjoyed watching heehaw. I used to hold her hand while walking down the street, she said hello to her friends a lot of them, I did meet. Those days are all gone all I have is the memories, she passed on a Summer day her love passes in the breeze. Copyright © Cynthia Jones Feb.28/2015 My grandmother passed on a warm Summer day on July.31/2014. This is the first time I sat down and wrote a poem after her passing. I didn't even get the chance to grieve for her.
