My God, Thank You For Finding Me

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR FINDING ME
Key Verse – Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of compassion
Though I’m wretched with my wickedness’ abomination
Truly needing Your forgiveness-sanctification
Being Your pardoned one whom You’ve assured of Your salvation.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of mercy
Though I’m miserable with my guilt’s potency
Truly seeking Your pardon-fervency
Being Your adopted child whom You’ve reached out thru Your clemency.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of grace
Though I’m poor with my discontentment’s trace
Truly trusting Your truth-embrace
Being Your redeemed believer whom You’ve sanctified for Your praise.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of goodness
Though I’m blind with my pride’s blurriness
Truly relying on Your wisdom-brightness
Being Your converted follower whom You’ve led by Your loving kindness.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of delight
Though I’m lacking with my indecency’s blight
Truly asking for Your guidance-insight
Being Your privileged heir whom You’ve enriched with Your might.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of favour
Though I’m nothing with my fruitlessness’ endeavour
Truly wanting Your presence-favour
Being Your chosen steward whom You’ve preserved by Your savour.
Thank You for finding me after Your own heart of victory
Though I’m cold with my unbelief’s worry
Truly expecting Your revival from slothfulness-injury
Being Your blest servant whom You’ve justified for Your glory.
