My Garden Country
Once, my garden flourished with grace,
Wild roses, Golden bells, a charming place,
Birds, big and small, made it their home,
Feasting on nature's gifts, free to roam.
Scented flowers, a fragrant delight,
Bees buzzed and danced, a lovely sight,
Nurtured by nature's gentle hand,
Abundance bloomed across the land.
But one fateful day, crocodiles arrived,
Voracious, cruel, they contrived,
Leaving nothing but desolate space,
Draining the essence, leaving no trace.
Crocodiles, not ever satisfied,
Their greed's desire did not subside,
None can take pride in their presence,
Sowing corruptions and malevolence.
Still hope lingers within my heart,
Her sons and daughters will not depart—
My nation will reclaim its place,
A fair verdant space of true justice.
