-My Full Blown Addiction

A new full blown addiction
ls now what l possess
Which has entirely captured my body and soul
Its intense hold…. mere words cannot express

Five months now since it started
Yet it is completely out of control
It is all l can think about
Embedded eternally in my soul

This desire and longing is unbearable
The deep need for it is above all other
I must get my fix come what may
If not …what desperate measures it may uncover?

I believe my addiction is with me forever
For my life ,its entirety and no shorter
I must confess that my addiction is
My beautiful five month old granddaughter!!

Lovely poem, Deb.. and I get it. But be forewarned… get in lots of cheap ice lollies (popsicles?) and hide the fancy ice cream cones with a chocolate flake in…. Cos they only eat half of the damn thing and the rest melts on your sofa. Enjoy ;-)

Most likely 6. My D-I-L has breast c. I don’t think they were having more anyway. Oldest daughter was told she’s done and my youngest I don’t think so either. So probably great-grands, and that will be diff. LOL. I am so happy and thrilled that I’ve hd this time! Truly blessed! Enjoy the journey!
