My Friend Jan Says
Listen to poem:
I had problems with people, While tryin' to share my thoughts
attempting to convince a mind, with a will that never bends
Arguing with facts that get tied up into knots
But as my friend Jan says
"It will work out in the end"
I had problems at work today, I couldn't figure out
Trying to fix the issues that won't mend
Working on some new stuff, I know nothing about
But as my friend Jan says
"It will work out in the end"
Chorus
Yes it always works out, says, Jan
Sometime you have to go with the trend
But If you leave it alone, Like a dog with a bone
"It'll work out in the end"
Instrumental
I went out for lunch, to a diner that's in town
Lookin'. through my wallet, wasn't much for me to spend
Went I had finished I needed to lie down
But as my friend Jan says
"It'll will work out in the end"
Chorus
Yes it always works out, says, Jan
Sometime you have to go with the trend
But If you leave it alone, Like a dog with a bone
"It'll work out in the end"
Yes it always works out, says, Jan
Sometime you have to go with the trend
But If you leave it alone, Like a dog with a bone
"It'll work out in the end"
