My Fragile Resistance-Lu's

I sense your essence in the breeze bound by love and affection black ravens plague this existence as the tempest rages in warm rains the wind blows and gusts prevail fleeting into the ebon night; for our love loses not insight but goes where it will as long as it please intense obscurity of the calamity I faced before you attains sounds of swift ivory doves cry out, emerging from the dust I was found sweetheart, you are my perpetual connection saturated in loneliness were you and… as I struggled with demons and flailed all about weeping in the forsaken land of my desolated heart’s remains yet you stay with me, longing for my hopelessness to cease and I shall feel this pure affection for you, my beloved…eternally a million fairytales tremble at us begging for a happy ever after is not useless descending onto my grateful knees- your genuine adoration still sustains I embrace you…you hold me tight I knew the pain of loss and despair you carried with ease never cursed or full of deep blight; my alleviation found in perfection- they know how our love does outshine with flickering light-, and I slowly let down all of my fragile resistance for I am but a woman craving to be near you for all of eternity written 9-8-2019 Lu's Poem Switcha-roo Poetry Contest
