My Formula For Achieving

No law or proclamation
decrees that a day started wrong will continue that path.
Life can be either a bushel or a peck,
and our choices, or those made on our behalf, make it what it is.
To believe is step one on the journey to becoming,
and while I believe that no man is predestined to failure,
his lack of faith and persistence often makes him one.
Nothing ensures failure like the lack of effort,
and because rewards seldom come without a price tag
man is always seeking an edge.
Sometimes that edge is just a smidgen, which isn’t much,
but it’s often been the only advantage I’ve had.
Trust God, be honest, generous, truthful, and work hard/smart.
