My forbiden fruit
I see her sitting over there
on the bus some how to stare
A youthful beauty with short hair
A tempting temptation for which to dare
The cause of the heart to deeply care
The wish and resistance for feelings to air
The time of day she comes into view
A kind of pay to eyes for use
To what is given this award
The heart, the eyes, the faults ignored
Desire being the longing of the heart
A small insanity that starts and starts
The joy of life that part of the day
Though left alone the vision it stays
For her alone I feel this way
It comes and last most of the day
